Internal processes Cost reduction programs (personal and non-personal) The success of a cost reduction program lies in the identification of relevant saving initiatives. A close cooperation with client's purchasing team is key.Our experience shows that there is a potential for cost reduction in each company. Many cost categories (especially those where there is a competition among suppliers and switching costs are not very high) can be reduced by ca. 10%. To maximize results, we look at all reduction levers: price decrease through higher competition, volume rationalization, standarization of specifications and SCM.
